I told my wife last night that I am going bear hunting for a few days this spring and either taking the Hawken or the recurve. The problem started when I told I was going to go by myself this year for a few nights camping light- w/o a tent.
She hates it when I hunt alone (and rightfully so I guess) and figures that some big furry thing is going to eat me! I think the insurance policy states they need a body inorder for her to collect! Any how I figured that that would be a great Valentine's day gift for me but I am feeling she was not so thrilled with it. Though I may be wrong I think I might be in the dog house yet again.
I guess it is a good thing I didn't get the bullet molds for her for V. Day and stuck to the concert tickets! Maybe she might warm up to the idea after the concert ..... I wonder if she is taking me?

Oh well only 2 more months to bear hunting

PS: I told my wife that nothing says I love you like a new BP rifle and her reply was, and I quote " What, you mean when it is pointed at you?"

Am I missing something here?
