RE: thinking about switing to fixed broadheads.
i had heard alot about slickstricks so i decided to give them a try i used to shoot spitfires 100grn but found that they were not very durable. i started using slicktricks this past season i had never shot them before and practiced only with field points, and when the moment of truth came the slicktrick did its job blowing right through a big doe at about 23 yards i watched it run about 40 yards and pile up i didnt need to track it. the slicktrick made a real good entry hole and a bigger exit hole. the next day i had a 17 yard shot with the same results, thats when i was sold on them. there are alot of good broadheads out there you will just have to find the ones that work for you like the slicktricks worked for me. good luck
