I have a Super Redhawk that came with a 2X Simmons on it. The Simmons has held up well, but I am going to switch to a 4X scope. Many people told me that the 2X was more than enough for a revolver, but to my old eyes, 2X just is not enough!
I have not decided whether to stay with the Simmons line, or to up-grade to a Loupy or Burris. As for me, I will not go to a variable scope though, to me the revolvers limited range does not justify the expense of a variable.
