Just curious if you guys want me to report on my Upland bird hunts this year. I hunt upland birds more than any other game combined. I intend to take some of you all bird hunting this year. I mainly hunt Mountain quail, ruffed grouse, and blue grouse. Later in the year I will hunt chuckars, Pheasants, valley quail, and huns. Next week I will be hunting Sage grouse. Today it begins. If there is anybody on this board that wants to have a go at Oregon birds, let me know. I will be glad to host a hunt. I have two nice bird dogs, and a career that gives me a flexible schedule. The cost of bird hunting in Oregon is $58.50 for a non-resident license and you must purchase a state upland stamp validation. I will report tonight on the first days hunt.
