Ask your gunsmith if he'll rebarrel your 710 and see what he says. I'll bet he'll tell you to buy a new rifle. The fact of the matter is that the M710 is a disposable rifle that is OK until it wears out, but then it's worthless
That same fact hasn't stopped millions of 742/7400 rifles from being sold.
