I do elk a lot and the bone cutting if I don't have an atv is the only small issue. An Alaska boy told me he takes an 18 volt dewalt reciprocating saw to do a quick job on moose. When gutting just feel your way around to loosen the pile and be careful to cut around the anus and organs from the outside and pull them through with the guts and don't cut through anything.
