I recently bought a M70 camo/stainless in 300 wsm with a 3x9 VXII in stainless to put some "bigger" meat in the freezer but have yet to take it to the range, buy a rest ect.

I can get 5 shot 2"groups (measured) at 100 yds (measured) shooting over the hood of my truck, which I figure is as good as or better than what I'll get hunting How many of you shoot like this? Would this satisfy you or should I buy a rest?

250 yard shots will hit a 8x11 peice of my wifes "nice" paper. I took the targets home to show her...good thing she hits like a girl.
