Default RE: Inexpensive blinds

I made one myself really inexpensive. Here's what I did: If you're able to find a retailer who sells camo material from a roll by the yard purchase 1 yard of material. Then, go to your local hardward store and purchase two 1" dowels. With a knife, whittle one end of the dowels into a point. This will be useful for sticking the dowels into the ground on hunting day. Spread the material out, and using a staple gun, staple the material down the length of the dowels. Be sure to leave 8-10" of the whittled end exposed for sticking into the ground without the material getting in the way. Voila! You're done. Now you can roll it up and fairly easily carry it into the turkey woods. Spread it out and pound it in the ground with a rock or with a little pressure on softer ground it can be forced into the dirt. I like to have mine "drooping" a little to create a shooting lane.
