RE: sticking casings in my new pistol
huntwv, I hate hearing the problem you're having. You have a couple options. Take it back to your dealer and have him send it back.Or you can contact Ruger at their Newport NH facility. Explain to the service dept the problems you're having. That this is a brand new gun. They might pick up the tab for shipping it back.I've heard they will on occasions.See where you get that way. If your not satisfied email me or send a PM to me and I'll give you the service managers name.I've dealt with him a couple times and he's a very dedicated man who cares about Ruger's customers.Sounds to me the chambers are rough like already mentioned.Ruger will make it right. It's just the hassel sending it back and waiting for it to come back.If you send it via UPS, they will return it right to your house. If your dealer sends it it will be delivered back to him.The time frame how long it will take depends on Ruger's work load.I've gotten guns back in a couple weeks up to a couple months.I'm sure they can give you an estimate how long it will take. The service managers secretary is a lady named Shirley. You might ask to talk to her first.
