RE: hevi-shot
I have shot Nitro Hevi shot thru a Remington Ventilator .655 which is not rated for HS use in my 870 SM, shooting the 3 1/2" #5's in 2 1/4 oz. load and I can't see any damage or scoring marks on either the choke or barrel. Most experts say that the .655 might be to tight, but my pattern is great, but it still won't out do the same load with the Rhino choke, close but not quite as good. Anyway, both of those chokes beats the factory chokes I have hands down, there is really no comparison.
