My boy has the Micro Midas III and its a great bow. I have shot quarter sized groups with it at 20 yards even with it being 5" too short for me.

He has not hunted with it yet because he is not up to 40 lbs. yet which is the minimum legal draw weight in Ohio. He is 11 years old and should be close to 40 lbs. draw by this fall. He will be using GT carbon arrows with a cut-on-contact broadhead. You do not want to use mechanicals! Not near enough KE with these low poundages and short draw lengths.
