My wife's bow is set at 40 lbs with a draw of 24 and she is shooting eastons 1816- lite arrows,with the 3 bladed muzzy,100g. They shoot great and hold a great pattern at 40 yrds. As far as going threw the deer she doesnt have any problem with this set up.
