Default RE: Outhouse & Doghouse blinds

1. No, not even for a shorter draw length archer. The width dimensions are measured at the bottom of the blind and, considering the teepee shape, are misleading.

2. Despite what a specific competitor would lead you to believe the quality is very good. I own three of their blinds and one of the Hunter's View models. I have not had a problem with any of them in terms of durability or anything else for that matter. The major difference between them and their more expensive counterparts is the material they are made from. The Ameristep blinds are made from Nylon whereas the more expensive models from another company are made from a canvas material.

3. Positives would include:

- lightweight
- easy to use
- inexpensive
- relatively durable

Negatives reported (not that I necessarily agree with them)

- excessive windflapping on some models in high wind.
- a glossy reflection off of the nylon from certain angles under certain conditions
- velcro attachments for shoot-through mesh windows are noisy if one attempts to remove them in the woods.

Hope this helps.
