RE: Cutting Carbon Arrows?
Idahoelkinstructor,
I wear the mask to be on the safe side. I do not think it would be good to get carbon fibers in the lungs no matter how few.I have had my arrows cut in the shop then tried it at home with the dremell when I wanted them a little shorter. Same amount of dust same nice cut. It works great for me. Not saying anybody else should do it this way just that it works okay for me. I have only cut about a dozen arrows this way and shoot the same still (except for the ones I have lost at 3d shoots). I have had them for about 2 years and they are still fine. Also my rotary or dremell tool operates up to 35,000 r.p.m.`s and seems fast enough.
