I just started a taxidermy class at the local community College. It is VERY good. I didn't realize all there is to it. I am about half done with a Squrrell. It is more of an art class than anything. So far the pelt has been the easiest thing. I set the eyes and face tonight, That is the hardest part. Just trying to get it to look right.
There is some expense when getting started too. I am at about $200.00 so far, And I have to go buy some wire tomorrow to support the leggs that I am forming out of clay.
It's a-lot tougher than I ever thought. But I think it will be worth it.
