If I had no 270 at all and wanted to buy one, I would buy the 270 WSM If I already had a 270 Winchester, I would just stay with it. There is not enough difference in performance for me to switch. I think the ammo selection and availabilty will improve shortly. However If I were not going to reload then I would not go with the 270 WSM. I would rather be shot and thrown in a ditch than buy a factory shell. WELL ALMOST
