It's not a hard job. I replaced one way back. I bought one of the old style Barrel type forearms for mine. I don't remember how I did it but it wasn't a big job.I'm sure once you look at it you'll find it's nothing to changing it.Remove the barrel after checking to see that it's unloaded.I think I removed the trigger assembly so I could remove the action bar.There isn't that much to a Ithaca M-37.
