Default RE: E-collar questions

To SilveGSP, Maskellrascal, H20knine, & Gotyres
First off please excuse any screw ups in this reply process because this is the first time I've ever attempted this before.

I know that most people never give their own name on these exchanges but I feel you'll trust my reply a little bit more in this case if I do.
My name is John Seroczynski and I'm the National Sales & Marketing Manager for DT Systems the second oldest manufacturer of E-collars in the world. (Almost 25 years)

I'd like you also to know that the people at Hunting Net.com have been put in charge of upgrading the D.T. System's web page and it's better than ever.
Our "Ask the Expert" section has been a great success in its first couple of weeks.
I hope you'll to take a look at it in your spare time and also feel free to reply with any suggestions.

Now for your questions about E-collar for pointing dogs.
The replied input was good but maybe I can kick in a bit more help on this issue.
Let me address some of the replies and questions.

Levels of stimulation: We all know that once someone gets their first E-collar they pretty much settle on the range of stimulation that best fits their dog's level of reaction.
D T has a number of different collar series which have stimulation levels of 8, 9, 16, 20, 50 &60.
The thing you first should know is that the maximum stimulation level for all of our units is VERY close to the same regardless of the number of stimulation levels.

There are a number of reason we give the dog owner so many levels to choose from.
The first of which is simply because we have the ability and technology to do so and maybe the most important is because hardly a day goes by without some consummer asking us for even more than we currently have avaliable.

All dogs have different tolerance levels and having many levels to choose from gives the trainer / owner the ability to fine tune and custom fit their collar of choice to their pet.

If a dog is running accross the highway, running deer, fighting with another dog or doing anything that may endanger him or someone else the owner needs to be able to jump to a much higher level of situation to hopefully head off any danger.

Now for what D. T. Systems may have to offer.
I just arrived home (3:30 AM today) from the annual SHOT SHOW which is the shooting sport's industrie's annual showing of what's new in the outdoor world.
Naturally almost every collar company in the world was there to showcase their current and new products for 2005.
The timing of your request for help could not have been better because D. T. themselve's
showcased our latest pointing dog collar with beeper.

Model # EZT 5000 a one-dog system & the EZT 5002 which is a two dog system.
FEATURES: Our "EXCLUSIVE LONG RANGE FM / DIGITAL ANTENNA SYSTEM"
1. Waterproof collar
2. Rechargeable collar & transmitter
3. A 1-mile range (We have "many" bird hunters that require even greater ranges)
4. Nick stimulation & Continuous stimulation with an 8 second safety delay.
5. A long range beeper that depending on wind conditions can be heard from as far away
as 450 yards and it requires"NO" internal battery
6. A Lifetime Warranty on parts
7. And a heavey duty polly / nylon carrying case.

Now for the best part. How about a retail price of $299.99 for the one dog, one mile collar with beeper? and $449.99 for the two dog with the same features.
The new EZT 5000 series was one of the hottest items at this year's Shot show.
You won't find it on the web page yet because it was kept under raps until the show.
Please feel free to contact me through my E-mail address with any questions. If you give me your phone numbers I promise you I'll return your call AsAP.

Here is my E-mail address. [email protected]
Respectfully
