Default RE: New Rangefinder, Anyone Used THIS one?

razorhunter,
I ordered this rangefinder and have been using it on my 3D course, I'll have to admit when i first got it i was very unhappy with it because, for the yardage to work it has a bottom line that you put on the bottom of a deers belly and what ever the yardage line is on the top of the deers back is how far it is from you, if the deer or ?is about 3 feet thick ( top of back to bottom of belly ).

This is what you see when looking through the monocular as you can see the bottom line and the 10 yard pin are the furthest apart, so the deer is alot closer to you (bigger). are you confused yet? <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
After using it more and becoming familiar with it on the range, I wouldn't hesitate to take it hunting, although Elk is a little bigger through the center than deer. For the money $32.00 IMO it is by far better then those ranging rangefinders and 1/8 the size ( you can almost hide it in a closed fist). It is a 5x20 mm monocular. It will do until i can afford a laser rangefinder.
Hope this helps.

The diagram didn't turn out like it was supposed to. it is alot like the cross hairs in a scope.
