The Mr Buddy looks to have a physical shape somewhat like the portable radios from the 70's., rectangular in shape with a carrying handle. I believe they list the shipping weight at seven pounds. It has a low(4000 btu) and a hi(9000) btu. It has an automatic shutoff when the oxygen gets low. It sells for about $80.00 at cabelas, menards. It also has the option for the owner to purchase a hose to use it with the bigger tanks(like 20lbers).
The Coleman Black Cat is about $20. cheaper, a lot lighter and has a btu of 3000 I believe. It has a shape kind of like one of those 6 volt battery flashlights,screw the propane cannister into the back while from front has the dish shaped burner. It has two legs that swing out from the body to support the burner portion through a 3 point stance.(the third point being the bottom corner of the small propane cannister.
