So here is the question that needs to be answered before shucking out 35% more money for a Vari-X III. Will this two or three peice tube of the VXII handle the abuse like the one piece that the Vari-X III offers. Unfortunely, only time will tell. I am sure that that two or three piece assembly is easier to manufacture than a Vari-X III. Maybe thats the price difference.

Do you guys know the construction of the VariX-II. Sorry to be beating a dead horse here. I am still trying to figure out the price differences.
