I am getting a new scope in a couple of days. I was going to get the VXII 2-7 x 32. How does this compare to the Nikon Monarch 2-7x32??

I had a Monarch 3-9-x 40 a few years ago and loved it. I have heard that the VXII is just as good but alittle less $$.

Since the VXII is a 3 piece tube how does it hold up to the snow and water as far as fogging up and keeping moisture out??
