This topic will cause some debate for sure. I for one will already disagree with a reply. I would would have to have to say Buckeye gave some great advise as a starting point, if you post what you are shooting maybe someone else is shooting something similar and can give you a starting point. What works in one gun might not work well in another. I know guys that shoot good patterns at 40 yrds with factory choke tubes and others that shoot good patterns at 40 yrds with $60 choke tubes. I have one of the above mentioned tubes and can knockem stiff at 40 yards. Patterning a gun can get expensive. I bet I shot 8-10 different loads before last season, and at Wally World you have to buy a box of each. An average of $9.00 a box really ads up. This is just my $.02 worth.
