Flipout!

I started both my kid's off with a small recurve that you can pick up for about 30.00 including a few arrow's to go with it .After they started to get the basic's down on how to handle a bow ,I went and bought the BowTech rascal but I don't think you want to get into that kind of money yet for a couple of year's .The small recurve give's them the idea about how to hold the bow ,how to draw the bow and give's them an Idea on how to aim without using any kind of accessories .Then the next step is to get them into a compound like the rascal or some of the other brand's such as the Mathew's Genisis or other brand's on the market today which there are many to choose from .This bow will also develop their form before they have to consentrate on too many other issue's such as peep sight's and sight's and arrow rest's when drawing. Once they have the recurve down pat then they'll be ready to advance on these other's without having to think about too many thing's at once.
