Default RE: crappie help

The best way it to use minows and a bobber. slip bobbers are the best use you can fish deep right off the bank. You can allso do very good with crappie jigs my best jig is shartuse tail with red body. You can allso fish the jigs with a bobber. If the lake is a cleer watter lake you will need to use 6# line or less to do real good.

In the spring the crappie will go on nest to lay eggs. this is done in shallow whatter normaly with some kind of cover.[ trees lillys weed lines in watter]even dockes can be good. This is the best time to get big numbers. You will be fishing very shallow whater like 12in to 4 foot.

good luck they are great to eat.
