Thanks for the advice fellow bowhunters. After talking to my friend at work today, he said we each need to take 8 vacation days. Of course part of those days will be for driving out and driving back plus we have 2 weekends in the timespan. That will allow a day or two of scouting and getting better acclimated to the higher altitude.

Back to my deer hunting, I can still hunt on the weekends and either mornings or evenings during the rut depending on which shift I am working.
