I have used both the 30-30 and 35 Remington as well as the 32 Win. Special for moose. This was only from tree stand hunts though where the range was never more than 30-40 yards and often even closer. I had a moose walk right under my tree stand. It would have been a 10 foot shot. BUT!!! I only had a bear tag that time.[] At close range I would say yes but past 75-100 yards it would be a little iffy. This unless you were very sure that you could place the shot perfectly.
