Just to be clear on this topic, If I wanted to shoot sabot, I would have to buy a rifled barrel for it, otherwise I can safely shoot rifled slugs with the barrel it came with no problem then? Additionally, with a rifled slug and my smooth bore barrel, what kind of distance can I expect? I mean, how far away from a deer could I be to ensure an effective kill?
