Noramally I only use my hungarian recurve bow for target practices, but I was invited by my grandfather to Quebec in middle of September for fishing and hunting.
So I made everything ready to fligh to Canada. After arrived in Quebec my both compound bows was gone, only my hungarian recurve was ther.
First I was thinking no huntig with this bow, this one is to traditional and not made for hunting. I was wrong, my grandfather told me: "Son , when you are not able to hunt with this bow your not a hungarian."(he is still a litle patriotic) So I had no other possibility to go on with my bow and try to be a hunter.
After a week I hade a caribou (473 pounds) with my recurve: 48lbs/28" , my gradpa was happy and me to.
So I changed my mind about traditional recurve bows.
