RE: Buck stands and doe stands
Nope.
Where ever the does are, the bucks are going to show up eventually.
I may target different areas as the season changes due to the animals changing their fall routines, but I make no preference on gender.
In the areas I hunt you can throw out rub lines, scrapes, and in some cases even trails. After many years of trial and error, all rubs and scrapes tell me is where the bucks WERE.
I am always looking for new stand locations. In over two dozen stand locations this year, there were only a couple that I didn't have a buck walk by and all but one I saw deer out of. The couple that I didn't see a buck out of were stands that for one reason or another I didn't get to spend much time in.
