The Ballistic tips do quite a bit of Damage if you hit a bone of any size but I quess bloodshot meat is the down side. Hits just through the vitals with them is all you could ask of a bullet. This season with that heavy trigger, I had problems placing my shots as well as I should. I shot four big Mule deer does with it and they were all one shot kills but I was always just a tad bit off target. Quess I should have used my 6.5X55 until I got the Ruger trigger worked over. I am going to give the Tripple shocks a try as well. The X bullets kill real well and don't usually do a lot of excess damage.
