I usually do most of my scouting in the Late Fall, Winter and Spring, after the end of bowseason. Sometimes, I'll walk the woods with my shotgun during gun season, but it is ussually just scouting for the next bow season. I definetly wouldn't do too much lane clearing this time of year.
