I have to admit that I also did not like cleaning up after black power. I like the way it shoots, but not the corrosive and cleaning aspects.

With the synthetics (Clean Shot, 777 and Now Black Mag'3), I much more enjoy cleaning with Percussion and 209 Rifles.

I still have Goex BP and shoot it once in awhile.

Along with Triple Se7en, I also like the cleaning of my weapons.

Twice a year - Spring and Fall, I drag everything out of the gun cabinets for a cleaning and inspection. Takes an entire day to do everything and the aroma of solvents and oils lasts for several days in the house there afterwards.

Just like when I was a boy at my grandfathers home when my father and I would load up dad's guns for a routine visit to Grandpa & Grandma's.

Three generations would sit at the kitchen table cleaning rifles and pistols. This is where I learned about firearms and not only how to care for them, but how to respect them.
