I love all smokepoles. I (don't laugh) enjoy cleaning them. My household hates the smell of spent blackpowder, cleaning solvents & nasty, smelling oils like Breakfree CLP and Ballistol. I (don't laugh again) love the smells.

Personally, I feel the advent of smokeless powders in muzzleloaders crossed that edge... crossed the dividing line that separates centerfires & smokepoles. However, I don't knock the Savage ML-10 purchasers. If that's what you want... so be it. I'm still waiting to find one at the gun range. I'd like to at least learn how it works... even shoot it once or twice.
