I built a new one a few years ago with treated lumber, put it up on a Sat. afternoon, went back on Thurs walked right by the location, and said wait a minute thats where I put up a tree stand , and it was gone, not a trace of it . Put the word out to a local hunting club, nothing, just vanished in thin air. Was pi$$ed.... Now with the price of lumer it would cost about $120. to build a decent stand, just go to Dick's Sporting goods and buy a metal one for $99.
