I have just started reloading & I am using sierra's edition #5 manual. I am reloading for a browning bar and a remington 7400 both in 30/06 caliber. In this manual it recommends imr-4895 or something close to it from the powder burn rate chart as shown on pages 107-110 in this manual for the M-1 garand to prevent damage to the action. Is this also true for the guns I have listed. If not can someone give me a min and a max from this chart that will be safe for the actions on my guns.
