Default RE: WEST VIRGINIA "Freezer Hunters"

NHBUCK,
I respect your offer and your honest opinion, and yes we all do have opinions. None the less, I just think that in West Virginia there are too many hunters (in-state as well as out-of-state) that are harvesting too many does. Is that the hunters fault? Sometimes it is when they take 4-5 does and don't check them in. The DNR is at fault mostly with their rules and regulations, allowing a 3 week doe season. Hopefully now that WV has a "new" DNR head things will start to change, an antler restriction, reductions of extra tags, shortening of doe season and a lower limit of bucks.
Don't for a minute get me wrong, I think that does do indeed need to be managed, but not in ALL counties within the state. I also think that the hunters of today are unlike the hunters of 20-30 years ago. Greed is a big part.
