Default 5 Shot / or others: need your opinion.

Over the years I have rarely had my broadheads impact with my field points, but always within 2 to 3 inches requiring just a small sight adjustment.
However this year I am realy confused because the broadheads impact 4 inches left and 7 inches low @ 40 yards from the impact point of my field points. The broadheads do group good (4 inch group @ 40}.My bow is shooting a bullet hole in paper at both 6ft & 10 yards and a bare shaft hits within 1 inch of a fletched arrow at 15 yards with this set-up.
I next adjusted the broadheads to impact with the field points (per the Easton Guide) by moving the rest up and to the right until they are hitting the same point at 40 yards, "BUT" now I have a 2&1/2 inch right tear in paper and my groups opened up some at 40.
??? Do I put the set-up back where I started or go with the Easton Guide set-up which is supposed to be the way to set up broadheads.

Sorry to be so long or my first post but I realy value the knowledge on this board and the experience you have had with broadheads.
Thanks to all,
