RE: my under the bed home defender
When has Ruger not sold out to the anti gun forces?? I still have my Mk1 pistols. And I want a #1 really bad. Other than those cave ins, screw em.
Under the bed? I have to go the shotgun route with bird shot. A few buckshot on one side and slugs on the other side. (mossberg 590 with speedfeed parked)
I just don't want the risk of a pistol round going through the walls. AND the sound of the action racking on the 12Ga is just what an intruder doesn't want to hear.
Plus what the heck. Easier to hit with a shotgun. Go shoot some stress matches in IDPA etc.... and find out its pretty easy to miss a target across the room with a pistol.( I know, I can shoot pistols well too- but add stress etc.....)
