I've got 6 of the top 10. Happy to see the 1100 tops of all automatics. I like the top 10 except the XP-100 (although in my biased opinion I'd have the top 3 be 870, 700, 1100).
Since this is a subjective topic, just like Petzal's top 50, IMO the Mossberg 835 broke enough ground it should have been included, the Marlin 39A should be higher but not sure higher then the 10/22, Browning Gold's are definitely the best single shot auto out there, Perazzi's are great guns (so I'm told) but who has one?, the model 37 Ithaca should be higher (man, there have been some good 37 vs. 870 debates), and older 1400's really aren't that bad.
