My first thought is that the Remington 870 should be 1st. They are the most successful civilian gun ever. The design hasn't changed in 50 years. The Mauser 98, Remington 1100, Remington 700, and Winchester Model 70 and Model 94 probably belong. I don't know a lot about the S&W, Model 12, or XP 100. As far as the Benelli Autoloader, I don't think that would make my top ten list. The BAR and the Colt Peacemaker would probably make my top ten somewhere.
