The only way to really decide is to go shot them and see what feels best for you. Had a friend just purchase an Archery Research. It is a lot quieter and faster than my present PSE. Only reservation I have is the cam and 1/2. I've heard that despite the "no timing' necessary that there might be timing problems later -- don't know.

Matthews and Bowtech are both great bows but it really comes down to a personal choice and what you feel confident in after shooting them.
