Default RE: Hawgs Limtited Synthetic Scents

If this helps I have used those scents for the past 2 seasons...They are a couple years old as supposedly Mitch Rompola used them to kill his big buck...but ne ways...I used them in a dripper...sprayed them on trees...and made mock scrapes...they didn't do to well in a dripper but I think there was just too much of human scent on it. When I sprayed them on the trees some bucks actually rubbed over it. And in a mock scrape...they weren't really hit hard but enough to know that they knew "I" was there. O and I used them as a drag. Boy that worked but the buck that followed the scents in wasn't a "big" buck but he came in w/ his nose down n passed 15 yds. and I missed because I misjudged but he came in perfectly. Now if you didn't know...(I'm gonna say it ne wayz) there are three different types of scents they have... the pre/post rut/ the rut/ and the buckstop-which is supposed to be used on the licking branch or to make a mock rub. I ended up using the pre/post rut most of the time. But just to let you know... the pre/post rut synthetic urine smells like ammonia just a little more diluted than the "rut" synthetic urine because that is a lot more stronger smell of ammonia. The buckstop forehead gland stuff just smells like vanilla. Another thing about this stuff is its supposed to re-generate itself after rain or moisture or water. And its supposed to last for a long time. I'm gonna keep trying with the mock scrapes to see if there is a spot where they really "hit it hard". Because like rompola told me and in the video he said " If you don't get good hits...well then that should tell you, you're not in the right spot. I can tell you when you get in the right spots you'll see the results!" Soo I guess its your choice!! Good Luck!!
