RE: 115 grain Nosler Ballistic tips.
Ended up shooting four deer. Three with the 100 grain one with the 115. All shots except one was a pass through. One hundred grain bullet was found under the hide in the far side. It went in behind a rib and went through most of the shoulder. I found the jacket and then the bullet core a few inches further in. It felt like most of the bullet was still there. All wound channels were pretty extensive due to rather poor shot placement on my part. This was a new rifle and although it shot well from the bench, it needs trigger work to bring it to its best. It will get that attention soon now that the rifle season is done.
