The problem with TB is mostly confined to northern lower MI on the east side of the state. This particular deer was shot in Alcona county where they first discovered it.
The reason being that that area has huge hunt clubs that bait by the truckload which causes deer to do alot of nose to nose feeding spreading the TB. Or, at least they used to. Now illegal but I know that they are still doing it.
