It is technically illegal to plant a food plot and hunt over it in Alabama, but it isn't enforced.
i guess it depends on where in alabama you are talking about. I live in north bama and it is perfectly legal to hunt over a food plot, but you can't hunt over a feeder. You can hunt on a salt block but can't hunt on a mineral block. I don't know who comes up with these rules, i just follow them. To me it is all the same thing, but i have no problem hunting over a manmade clover field.
