It was pouring and blowing at 5AM so the gang decided to wait a while. Got the deer sausage ground and stuffed (in the smokehouse now) and got out around 1. We drove some private, but open to all, ground and saw 2 nice bucks, a forkie and 12 baldies. One buddy missed two does and the two nice bucks double back (imagine that) Watched my buddy and his son get some shootin (was 80 yds away on the edge of the drive with the bow, God bless UBP for the new 50 yd safety zone). No blood drawn, no deer killed, but a day in the woods beats the snot out've a day at work.
