Then ask yourself; for (your) purposes is the cost for carbons vs 7178 (XX78) alloy justified. Sounds like the jury is still out on carbon vs high quality alloy.

I do not shoot carbon, but isn't an ACC a carbon-wrapped 7075 alloy(aluminum) shaft?
