RE: ATV
Junctionhunter,
Opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one. Here's mine.
I have logged over 8,000 miles on various atvs in extreme heat
and muddy cotton fields as a boll weevil trapper for SEBWEF.
They included a Yamaha Big Bear, Yamaha Kodiak, Honda 450s,
and Polaris Sportsman. The Honda was far, far, far more reliable
than any of the other three. It gave me more trouble-free hours
than any of the other three. I'll give the edge to Polaris for
the comfy seat and better suspension, but the simple reliablity
of the Honda more than makes up for that. The only quad I have in
my garage now is the Honda. The other quads simply could not hold
up as well as the Honda. I will say this, if Polaris ever gets
some proven reliability into their quads and improves their
customer service record, I would give them another look. Their
quads have several strong points, but the aforementioned lack of
reliability and pitiful service record really are a major detractor
in my opinion. Just my .02
