i wouldn't perosnally recomend the 17 hmr for yotes because i have seen ground squirrells take 3 shots from it and 2 shots from a 22lr at 30 yrds [:@] although the groundhog weighed out to be 14lbs a yote weighs more than that and seems crazy that someone would ever recommend it for yotes []
